    when you shop for insurance or say buy a car you could have many credit inquires but in my experiences these are treated as a group and not individual inquires I think if you are not happy with your insurance you should get as many quotes as your are comfortable with.

    No. Getting quotes for auto insurance does not effect your credit score.

    No, it’s a soft hit. It doesn’t affect your credit.

    No. But why get 5 quotes from one company. Shop around with different companies. And your shopping for what kind of policy?
