geico gave me the best quote…but i have a friend that says nationwide is reasonably cheap

This homework, you can’t run away from. you have to call around and actually do your homework.
Different insurance companies offer different discounts and different risk rating factors.An insurance company base their rates on how they’ve experienced losses on that particular rating factor. like zip codes, age groups, married person v- non married person. tickets and accident.
At the same time offers discounts on behaviors that they do
benefit them, like good students discounts, good credit discount, believing in having insurance discounts (prior insurance discounts or persistency discounts).

A cheap insurance company that favors my kind might not be cheap for you because they might not favor you or the car that you drive.

pass up on the ones who just whiz you right through to get you a low low low quote. they just want to get you to their door by promising you the moon. then blame the high rate on you when you get there that you didn’t tell them anything.
